What Photobat Can Do For Interstate / International Couples
In the years I’ve been shooting weddings, I’ve photographed couples from every state in Australia and even a couple from Denmark who came to Tasmania to get married. With the abundance of communication technology these days there is nothing to hold you back in getting the same service as local couples. I’m always available on email, mobile and also skype, which allows me to actually have a meeting over the net with you via webcam.
In addition to the photography stuff I can also help you out
with some local knowledge, from where to have your ceremony and who to get to
marry you right through to where to get your hair done and find the right
flowers. Local knowledge can help a lot when you are a long way from where you
are organizing your wedding and I’m more than willing to share info about
people I’ve worked with at other weddings. You can see the list here.
Some things that can happen with interstate couples…
Engagement Portrait Session
Most couples make a visit to Tasmania a few months before
the wedding to check out how things are progressing and finalise details for
the day, this is when we try to squeeze in sometime to do the pre wedding
portrait session. It’s a great time to give you some practice in front of the
lens, show you some examples of albums and just get to know each other a bit
better. The images are then uploaded into the client section of Photobat.net
and you can email me your feedback on the photos and also spend your credit that you receive with your wedding coverage.
Album Design
Typically after the honeymoon, wedding couples come into the
studio and spend a couple of hours finalizing how they would like their wedding
album to look. For interstate couples we can speed up the designing stage so
that it can be completed before they leave the state. If there is no time to
have the design session before they leave, we will exchange ideas via phone,
email, ftp or via post until the design is completed.
Online Proofs
Every wedding we shoot comes with a password protected online proof gallery, so that anyone can view and order your wedding photos.
that you can keep one yourself and leave on with family to pass around and show
everyone, rather than sending your proof book all around the country.
