Information about Photobat Weddings

Photobat’s aim at each wedding is to capture the story of your wedding in a way that will live on and excite the next generation of your family. We go about this by mixing many different photography styles including landscape, portraiture, documentary, abstract, detail and candids. Mixing it all up brings your story to life and triggers memories about all the little things that can easily be forgotten in the hype surrounding the day.

Engagement Portrait Session

As part of the Photobat Wedding Coverage, we include an engagement portrait session for every couple.

The engagement portrait session gives us a great opportunity to get to know each other better and create some great images at the same time. The shoot is generally held 6 to 12 months before the wedding at a location of your choice. Most couples have not had the opportunity to be photographed together before the wedding, so it’s always good to get in some practice! After the session we arrange a time to catch up, look over the photos and see what works for you in terms of angles, styles, finishes and compositions. This helps with the photos we will take on the wedding day, knowing exactly what kind of thing you like and not shooting the types of shots that you don’t like.

Some couples have used photos from their sessions on wedding invitations, guest books or just as a decoration at the wedding reception. To check out some of our engagement portrait session, click here.
