A story in the Australianhttp://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,20919275-2702,00.html

It was a bit close to my parents place, it survived but we know people who were not as lucky. Some lost everything, some lost their businesses.

I’m heading up that way this weekend for a wedding. It will be sad to see the destruction. Help out if you can

Man On Fire

Well, for a second, i did a shoot at sunrise the other day, St Kilda Beach, Melbourne. Rather a simple shoot, man walking on water with an umbrella on fire. He only caught fire once but he was smiling after he dunked his head in the sea. I’ll post the photos later… this one is for a poster at the comedy festival and I’ll be keeping it under wraps till it is on walls everywhere. I will post the shot that Glenn took when i get home (the photographer who used to be at the examiner in Launceston, and is now in Melbourne and getting up stupidly early to set a people on fire.)

In other news… I’m in Melbourne airport and the person next to me is getting a bottle of water out of a vending machine.

Isn’t the world fascinating.
Better post before me 20c runs out.
