Just another greek dog on Crete

I’m not in Crete at the moment, but not at home either… back with details next week

T

The Avenue, Launceston… i’ll be back in town next week. At the moment i’m doing a workshop and it is making me do a lot of thinking, and yes, it is possible for me to do alot of thinking.

Pink means Fun

Pink, isn’t it every little girls favourite colour? Well it seems to be for Georgie and Danika when we did theis really fun family shoot at the museum. I know Scott through BNI and he wanted to have his family shot, so I happily obliged.

The colours woked fantastic in this spot, I love the contrast colours with the door. Plus these girls were little balls of energy, all over the place!

Thanks again for a fantastic shoot, there are so many more fun shots that I should post from this shoot!

Look Up

Launceston.. but i’m not there this week, i’m out of the office until next Tuesday, so i’ll get back to your emails then, have a good week and look out for some more blog posts of photos.

DOD Wins!

Well done comedian David O’Doherty for winning what is considered to be the top award in world comedy. The if.comedy award is presented for the best comedy show at the Edinburgh Fringe. It is always a warm feeling when someone you really like gets up to the top of their game and is recognised for it.

Check out him winning the award here.

This shot is a bit old, about 4 years old I think. Shot in Edinburgh with his musical instrument of choice.

Pulp Mill Protest

Protest time in Launceston again.

And the lone man standing his ground for the mill

7LA

I was in at 7LA last earlier this week to judge their Kutest Kidz competition.

SOme photos from that visit… I wonder if anyone heard me? The winner and my pick will be featured on this blog in the coming months. Thanks again to everyone who supported this charity, i’m sure a heap fo money was raised for the Childrens Ward at the LGH

That flying baby - REVEALED

A few week ago you may remember there was a flying baby, need a memory jog? click here.

It is now time to answer all the questions! Otto can’t really fly, but does love to be thrown up in the air, and he gets a lot of air because his dad is a bit of a giant (then again, to me most people are giants). So far Greg hasn’t dropped Otto, which is a good thing because he is the coolest baby!

Otto is a real little character, so many expressions! This little guy is great, heaps of fun and i’m sure will be a terror when he starts to walk and then run about.

He gets on really well with Zali the dog too.

See what I mean about the expressions? He’s an angel isn’t he!

I can’t wait to see how much trouble he is going to get into, thanks again Greg and Emma for letting me shoot your first born, and well done on him, I can’t rave about him more!

Justin Herald

I had no idea who Justin Herald was until a couple of weeks ago, I was even standing next to him ordering a drink, no idea. About an hour after the bar I discovered he was speaking at the seminar V and I were attending, and that he is a bit of a business and motivational machine. From starting with his Attitude brand of clothing for $50 he borrowed from his brother, he turned it into a multi million dollar empire. And now he has a heap of books and uses his money to, amongst other things, build orphanages is Africa.

If you get a chance to see Justin speak, go see him. He is a fantastic presenter with a delivery style reminiscen of some of my favourite comedians, not the ones that go for the quick one liners, but the ones who tell a great story that make you think.

Yes, a shoe shot. Apparently this shot represents a third of Justin’s shoe wardrobe, the other two thirds being comprised of a pair of thongs and something a little more dressy.

Slight Problem

The main Photobat production computer decided that it had enough of this world. Thanks to the god of Backing Up, I have only really lost some settings and a few of days that were needed to get the new box up and running. Not to mention the time that I missed out actually doing work. Big thanks to Bill at Carbil for getting me up and running again in such a quick time.

Blog posting will start again now, there are a few to post and some really cool shots that I’m really proud of.

The above shot is of a couple of rubbish bins who were holidaying on Santorini while we were there. They loved the view.
