A wind slammng experiance did not do a lot of good for my office door today.

I do have new glass now, but it is not the cool detective glass that used to be there. So that isn’t so good, but at least the office is secure again!

I’m really looking forward to Micheal and Camille’s wedding, it’s a pity it’s still a year away, but you have to have something to look forward to!

These guys are another couple coming to tas to do the getting married thing, and they are doig it well with the reception down at Pepermint Bay. The boat trip down there will be great for all their guests.

The shoot also turned into a shopping tour of Launceston, we hit a few really cool shops and ate some chocolate! I’m now thinking that I will introduce shopping/shooting tours of town!

Thanks again for visiting us down here and helping the local economy!  I can’t wait to hit the streets of Hobart with you both in less than 12 months time.

Shane: “So, do you photograph dogs?”
Alan: “Yes, we love dogs”
Shane:”Great, Well come on over and shoot our little family”
Alan: “How many we talking about, 2, 3?”
Shane:”5, 2 Pugs and 3 Cocker Spaniels”
Alan: “…”
Shane: “We would love a photo of them all together”
Alan: “…”
Shane: “…”
Alan: “No problems!”

And so it transpired that we had 5 dogs, on a kitchen bench, all looking reasonably ok, having their photo taken. It wasn’t that hard really!

Shane:  “Did I mention we also have some cats?”
Alan:  “No, How Many?”
Shane: “4″
Alan:  “Do you want them all in a photo together?”
Shane: “No”
Alan: sigh of relief

 A quick photo taken in the office a few week ago of Eboney, another photographer in this big city of Launceston. Taken for my portrait of the week.

Last week we had the fun pleasure of teaming up with Kat form Frockyou.com.au for a little fashion shoot with her daughter Charlotte. It was a typical Tasmanian summer day, lots of rain and not that warm. Charlotte did very well to let us take some many fantastic photos of her. It was lucky that this is for the Winter editions of magazines so the weather was perfect. Check the podcast below for more photos from this session.
