Nathan, glad to help get you inspired, it is always a downer when your prints don’t get up. I was lucky to have a good mentor (see http://www.photobat.net/batblog/2009/06/19/mr-burnett/) after my first year to tell me how crap my prints were. It’s such a learning thing, this year I learnt a heap while preparing my prints and also from my first stint as a judge. I’ll be posting my experiances on that soon.

Best thing is to keep going, start looking out for award images now and save them in a separate folder. That was you don’t search forever to find them the week before deadline! (like i do!)
