I just discovereed this lost batblog image of Rick Maton of Coyote Events. We took these shots around his office. They are great examples ofmore relaxed headshots, more interesting than the standard white background shots. Each have their place, but these are more enjoyable!

last weekend v and I were lucky enough to expericance three nights at the Hazards Hideaway near Coles Bay. It was so close to the water and had a great view. Even at night we sat in the window and watched the stars. A really fantastic place to stay if you are looking to get away.

Greg and Mel from LAFM dropped by the other day. They have taken over the breakfast airwaves on the local radio station. Not doing a bad job of it either.

Plum is a new resturaunt in Salamanca Square in Hobart. I took a few shots when I was showing Di and Sam (who is co owner) their engagement shots.

 I love the colour in this place

The menu looks great, and as they have a fantastic breakfast menu i’ll be sure to ery it out next time i’m down. Really looking forward to it

Last week we headed up to the Underwater Dive Centre Beauty Point to shoot this shot for Zsports up in Queensland. The idea was to show off real divers in the Beuchat brand of wetsuits.

It was an interesting shoot, we were shooting outside and had to retreat inside once because the clouds I wanted in the background kept giving us a little bit of rain.
I was really happy with the final image we got, I had this shot in my mind from the initial enquiry and was it was very lucky that those clouds turned up on the right day.

It is not that often I do a real commercial job, I do not really advertise that I do them. Last week I had the oppotunity to do one for an annual report. It involved fighting our way through the fog to get to Devonport, then shooting many people involved with the electrical trades. These couple of shots were just some grabs in between the main shots.

It was a bit of a challenge, lots of thinking on my feet and finding the interesting shots… which… now I write it… sounds like everything else I shoot! As a lot of people know, I will go that extra big if it will be a great photo. For this shoot it involved laying in the gravel, followed by laying on an office desk with my feet planted onto a cupboard for support. I remembered to take off my shoes this time, last time i did something like that I left foot prints that looked like someone was walking up the wall.

My uni lecturer Phred would probably like this shot, lighting is a little bit more interesting than what I normally pull out. Nothing like a bit of a change!
